Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of commodity trade transactions.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, vessel movements, and cargo deliveries.
  • Coordinate and maintain trade-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, shipping, and commercial documents.
  • Update and maintain accurate records in trading and reporting systems.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Manage and maintain commercial risk and PnL reports
  • Collect and summarize market and operational information for the trading team.
  • Liaise with logistics providers, inspection companies, finance teams, banks, customers, and other counterparties.
  • Monitor contract performance and follow up on outstanding operational and documentation matters.
  • Maintain organized filing and record-keeping of trade and commercial documents.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and other operational projects as required.

 Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in trading, shipping, logistics, supply chain, or operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
  • Exposure to commodity trading, mining, shipping, or international trade operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CTRM, or trading management systems.
  • Understanding of basic trade documentation and logistics processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
